Self-reflection is incredibly important and here’s a chance to see a reflection of ourselves on the big screen.
Found in a Dream shares a story about a young adopted African Australian man and the social issues that surround him.
The film is set in Melbourne, Australia and in Ethiopia. Found in a Dream explores the themes of isolation and segregation that often leads young African Australian people to struggle with relationships, education and work.
It looks at these issues through Abeselom, a young drug dealer. His world is changed when he meets Netsanet and for the first time he feels real love again.
Found in a Dream is about love, culture, and ultimately, finding comfort within connection.
